The book “Thiva 102 km: Α Practical Guide of Art and Therapy in Prisons” focuses on the principles of Art Therapy using as case study examples the incidents of the THIVA 102 km Art Therapy Workshop held in the Women Detention Centre of Eleona, in Thiva, Greece. The Workshop was part of the European Program:  “PAROL: Writing and Art Beyond Walls, Beyond Borders”.

The music group ARTEFACT ENSEMBLE performs songs inspired by the testimonies of the participants of the workshop «THIVA 102 km», held in the Women Detention Centre of Eleona, Thiva, Greece. The sounds and the personal narratives  of the women who participated in the workshop traveled across Europe where different composers (Laurent Durupt – France , Balaz Horvath – Hungary , Branka Popovic – Serbia, Maurillio Cacciotore – Italy, Dimitris Andrikopoulos – Greece and Nikolaos Georgis – Greece) got inspired and wrote original scores.
The results, after a successful concert at the French Institute of Athens are now available on CD.
