Art Therapist, Psychologist

Eva Manaridou was raised in Athens. She studied psychology in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Art Therapy in the University of Hertfordshire in London. In London, she has worked as an art therapist, facilitating one-to-one and group art therapy in an NHS Community Mental Health Setting and in a Secondary School, where she mainly worked with children in foster care.  In Greece she has worked as a cofacilitator in the Rehabilitation Centre Fron Drugs 18 Ano, in the art group of the social reintegration and in the art therapy group of the inpatient unit. She has also worked with children, with and without disabilities both in England and Greece, facilitating psychoeducational activities through art.  In her collaboration with AMAKA she is facilitating art therapy groups with vulnerable communities and art as therapy workshops for children with disabilities.  In the same time, she is working on her own art practice, participating in art residencies and exhibitions.
