2G Multicultural Festival

The festival is aimed at the youth of Athens and its main objective is to bring together the different cultural and ethnic communities that coexist within the city by juxtaposing its contrasting images. It particularly invites second-generation immigrants to express, through art, the difficulties they face integrating as well as their experiences while living in the city.

Activities include talks, screenings and concerts, alongside a children’s art workshop that will be running in the same venue, for creating photo stories.

Co-organized with N.G.O. MEDITERRANEAN SOS Network, within the framework of the European program LAUTC (Learning About Us Through Culture) at the ‘Technopolis’ space in the borough of Athens (Peiraios 100, Gazi) on March 7 and 8, 2009.
